Privacy
Pissing Contest is a student social experiment. Here is exactly what it keeps.
If you never sign in
- A random ID stored in a cookie on your device, so repeat taps can be recognized. It is not linked to your identity.
- For each tap: the time, which bathroom, a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself), and your browser's user-agent string.
If you sign in with Google
- Your Google account ID and email address. Your email is never shown to anyone.
- The handle you choose, and a link from your account to your past taps on this device.
What it never collects
- Your name, your location, or your raw IP address.
Deleting your data
Use Settings → Delete account. Your handle and the link between you and your taps are removed; the anonymized taps remain in the totals.
